Celebrate the First Annual International Self-Compassion Day on Saturday, July 20, 2024!

We are delighted to introduce the first annual International Self-Compassion Day, created and sponsored by the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC) and open to the global public. Starting this year, International Self-Compassion Day will be held on the third Saturday in July, with a mission to raise global awareness of self-compassion and to support CMSC’s mission to alleviate suffering and strengthen well-being worldwide through the proven power of self-compassion.

This live online event, scheduled for Saturday, July 20th, 2024, will serve as a unique fundraising retreat featuring morning and evening donation-based hourly sessions. These sessions will focus on the three core pillars of self-compassion: mindfulness, common humanity, and self-kindness. This special day will include inspiring sessions led by renowned MSC Teachers from around the world, including CMSC Co-Founders Chris Germer and Kristin Neff.

Join our global movement of self-compassion to make the world a safer, kinder, and more supportive place to live.
